Walt and Cheryl were married in 1971 and have five children and seven grandchildren. Walt recently retired from Ford Motor Company. Walt and Cheryl came to faith in Christ in 1976 through the ministry at Calvary, and they have been a part of the family every since! They truly believe the church is their extended family and live it out daily. Walt has been on the leadership team for over 25 years. He has a true servant’s heart, working in many facets of ministry throughout his years here at Calvary. Whether it is teaching a Bible study, playing with the teenagers or doing electrical work around the church, his gift for loving people unconditionally always shines through.



Jim and Ellen Farr have been married for 39 years and have one married son. Jim is employed by a local business as a sales representative for DuPont Paint. Jim and Ellen truly serve God as a team and have faithfully done so their entire married life. The Farrs came to Calvary in 2000, jumping in with both feet. Jim brought years of experience in church leadership to the table when he joined the leadership team at Calvary 5 years ago. His heart for the lost is contagious and anyone who knows Jim knows he has a passion for teenagers. He loves and accepts them the way Christ would. Jim and Ellen have devoted themselves to leading the youth ministry since they have been at Calvary.
Marv and Cathy Hawbaker were married in 1970 and have three children and six grandchildren. They have been in pastoral ministry since 1976 and have served at Calvary since 1985. Marv and Cathy are dedicated to serving God through serving their church. This shines through in their hospitality and love for those they serve with a willingness to do what needs to be done. Marv has been the teaching Pastor for 22 years. He is faithfully dedicated to prayer and study of the Word. He has a gift of explaining the Bible clearly and precisely while emphasizing how God’s Word can be applied in everyday life in a practical way. Marv also has a longing to see those in our community come to know Christ personally. He believes our responsibility as followers of Christ is to share the Gospel with those we come in contact with and pray faithfully for them.
